For the second year in a row, Macy’s is partnering with the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy (MEWSA) to offer children a summer camp experience.

From now until May 22, the Macy’s locations at Menlo Park Mall and Woodbridge Center Mall invite shoppers to round-up their in-store purchase to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to support the Y’s camp scholarship program that sends children to summer camp at one of the Y’s 12 camp locations.

The Y’s camp scholarship program helps kids, especially underserved youth, attend camp, where they are introduced to new experiences that build confidence and develop skills to help them reach their full potential.

In 2017, Macy’s raised more than $975,000 for the Y camps nationwide, sending more than 8,000 kids to camp who would have been unable to attend otherwise.

The partnership with the Y is part of Macy’s The Great Escape summer campaign, which features the latest fashion for the season, new designer collaborations and in-store events.
