Local medical student Karl Hoegler of Monroe, who is set to graduate from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, is one of seven medical students being awarded a 2018 Edward J. Ill Excellence in Medicine Scholarship from MDAdvantage Insurance Company.
The awards dinner was held on May 2 at Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick.
