South Brunswick to hold Memorial Day services on May 28

Memorial Day remembrance services will be held at 11 a.m. May 28 on the front lawn of the Lt. John Farnkopf American Legion Post 401, 148 Major Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

During the ceremony, John Buchinski of North Brunswick will be recognized for 50 years of continuous membership.

Mayor Charley Carlie has been invited to speak. Gary Cooper, post commander, and Mary Halecki, auxiliary president, will present the ceremonial wreaths which honor those who gave their lives in military service to the United States.

Music will be provided by the South Brunswick High School Band.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

All are invited to attend.
