East Brunswick breast cancer survivor places third in Komen race

East Brunswick resident Lauren Spiegelhoff, a breast cancer survivor, placed third in the Survivor’s Division at the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on May 6. The 31-year-old brought home the bronze medal after crossing the finish line in 29 minutes and 10 seconds for the USATF Certified Timed 5K Run.
