Cub Scout Pack 98 and Boy Scout Troop 90 attended a Memorial Day ceremony at VFW Post 9111 in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick on May 28. Afterward, members of Troop 90 visited the grave of the late Lance Corporal Sean Estler in the Dayton section of town. Scoutmaster Joe Zamorski spoke about Estler’s service as a U.S. Marine, and how the Eagle Scout was killed during the Beirut bombing of U.S. Marine barracks in 1983. The troop visits his grave every year on Memorial Day, and has set aside a fund under his name if any scout cannot afford to go to summer camp or their dues to be a scout.
