Buckingham Place Adult Day Center specializes in dementia care

Alzheimer's disease, dementia, brain

Buckingham Place Adult Day Center is a well thought out medical day program designed to meet the needs of multiple clients struggling with a variety of medical issues. Our facility specializes in people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Our programs are designed to help lessen the cognitive effects of the disease and improve memory impairment.

Clients needing assistance for other health conditions also benefit from our excellent programs. In an average day, clients are picked up by bus and provided with a full day of stimulating activities ranging from live entertainment, music, Zumba, exercise, games and much more.

An onsite registered nurse is available to give out medications and assess clients. We also have licensed certified home health aides to help with anything from assistance in the bathroom, feeding and even showering.

A nutritious breakfast and lunch are provided to clients while in the center.

Additionally, there is a licensed social worker on staff who provides support services to clients as well as runs support groups for families.

Clients also have access to physical therapy services and a visiting podiatrist for those that need it.

The best way to see our center is to experience it first-hand. Interested clients can come for a free guest day to experience our services prior to getting started.

And, for those individuals not interested in a medical day program, Buckingham Place also offers in-home care, hourly or live-in, in the privacy of your own home. Health aides can provide a variety of assistance such as help with bathing, medication reminders, companionship, oral care, laundry, feeding and more. Many of our aides work in our day center prior to going on a case. All of our clients have the opportunity to interview aides prior to them starting to ensure a comfort level.

Buckingham Place is located at 700 Wood Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
