Harry S. Truman School presents Flag Day celebration on June 15

Students watch as members of American Legion Post 211 raise the American Flag during the Flag Day Celebration held at Harry S. Truman School in Parlin on June 13. All attendees enjoyed a Flag Day Ceremony performed by Sayreville’s American Legion Post 211. Patriotic music was also provided by the Sayreville War Memorial High School Band.

The community is invited to attend a Flag Day celebration at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Harry S. Truman School, 1 Taft Place, Parlin section of Sayreville. Flag Day is June 14.

Hosted by American Legion Post 211.

All guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary luncheon in the school library after the celebration.

The program is co-sponsored by the Sayreville Education Association in conjunction with a grant Truman School received from the New Jersey Education Association.
