On the night of the grand opening of Allaire’s new subacute unit, the environment was charged with a sense of anticipation, and the excitement only intensified as the many dignitaries, VIPs and state representatives entered the state-of-the-art facility.

Opening the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that riveted guests, staff and friends, Anthony J. Ammiano, mayor of Freehold, shared with Ben Kurland, CEO of Allaire Health Services, an extra large pair of scissors that matched the magnitude of this special occasion – and officially declared the subacute unit open.

Seizing the opportunity to tour Allaire’s upscale premises in Freehold, the many guests marveled at the luxurious 26-room Subacute Care Unit, the beautiful spa-like shower room furnished with plush towels and bathrobes, and the impeccable balance of hospitality and healthcare distinctive of Allaire.

“We are excited to offer a level of luxury unmatched in the area. All rooms are equipped with large flat screen smart TVs, Bluetooth compatible surround sound bedside speakers, and special ceiling and accent LED soft lighting. … And to complete the resort experience we offer bistro dining and concierge service,” said Jesse Ifrah, administrator at Allaire.

Furthermore, some rooms include a private bath and shower, a desk, refrigerator and sleeper sofa to ensure family members have a leisurely visit and can spend the night comfortably when needed.

Enjoying the live music and specialty coffees crafted by a barista, the guests marveled at the great transformation of the site into a truly luxurious setting, with some of them trying to imagine and wondering out loud “what could be next in Allaire’s plans.” As if on cue, Sara Geiger, director of Admissions at Allaire, replied, “Our new state-of-the-art 2,200 square foot rehab gym!”

That, along with a Model ADL Suite especially designed for patients to reacclimate to the home environment also in the works, sends a clear message that Allaire intends to sustain their reputation of Revolutionizing Care Delivery™.

Plans to have an all-registered nurse staff on the subacute unit will bring to completion this extensive transformation. Indeed, from Allaire’s ratings, in nurse staffing that exceeds the standard, its specialized clinical programs and the systems in place that consistently track the quality of care provided to each patient, it is no wonder the facility has established itself among the “Best Nursing Homes In The Nation” ranked by U.S. News & World Report.
