Milestones and a 21-victory season were among the accomplishments that the program achieved this spring.

On one day alone, May 8, the number 100 was the highlight total.

In the victory at home that day against Metuchen High School, coach Heather Wells gained her 100th career victory while junior third baseman Lindsey Warick connected on her 100th career hit and freshman pitcher Gabby Rappoccio recorded her 100th career steikout.

South Brunswick concluded its season with a 21-4 record.

The Vikings fell just short in both post-season tournaments.

South Brunswick was defeated in the Central Jersey, Group 4 state sectional tournament final by Montgomery, 12-0, on May 29 in South Brunswick.

The Vikings did knock out Princeton High School, Marlboro High School and Middletown High School South en route to a berth in the state sectional title game

The Vikings also made it to the semifinals of the Greater Middlesex Conference  Tournament, where they lost to Old Bridge High School, 6-3, on May 26. The Vikings defeated Carteret High School and North Brunswick High School on their way to the semifinals.

Warick would finish the season with 109 career hits and 100 RBI’s.
