Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Julia Karg of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in architectural engineering, and Tyler Rauch of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in mechanical engineering.

More than 130 students from the Ocean County College Nursing Class received their nursing pins at the 50th annual nurses pinning ceremony in Toms River. The graduates completed a two-year course of study leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree in nursing. The graduates from Jackson are Amanda Clark, Maureen Bioni, Andrea Grelis, Michelle Grygo, Steven Kish, Victoria Nuccio and Melissa Plummer.

Brielle Favole of Howell has been named to the Emmanuel College, Boston, Mass., dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced the graduation of the following area residents: Sarah Heath of Jackson, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; Kevin Kappock of Howell, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; Ryan Murray of Howell, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; and Brianna Robinson of Jackson, Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.

Jonathan Hunter Ayres of Howell graduated from Clemson University, Clemson, S.C., with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.

Julianne Clement of Howell received the Radiologic Sciences Student Achievement Award from the School of Health Sciences during commencement exercises at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn.

Mount St. Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Md., announced the Ryan Callahan of Howell and Tyler Shimchak of Jackson have earned dean’s list honors for the 2018 spring semester.

Errol Flynn of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at Lafayette College, Easton Pa. Errol is a 2016 graduate of Howell High School. At Lafayette, he has a double major in Spanish and history.

Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Ok., announced that Emily Pereira of Howell has been named to the dean’s honor roll for the 2018 spring semester.

Brittany Daly of Howell was named to the Champlain College, Burlington, Vt., president’s list for the 2018 spring semester. Students who are named to the president’s list have achieved a semester grade point average of 4.0 or higher.

Cassandra B. Smith of Howell has earned a Bachelor of Science, Dental Hygiene: Health Policy and Administration Concentration from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa., a special mission affiliate of Penn State University. Cassandra was named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.
