Rishita Patel has joined Immediate Care Medical Walk-In, in Wick Plaza, 561 Route 1, Edison.
Patel is a family nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Quinnipiac University. She previously worked as an advanced practice registered nurse at Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group Med-Help Urgent Care in Bristol, Connecticut, as well as a registered nurse at Bristol Hospital.
The Edison location opened in January 2017 and is the company’s sixth urgent care center. The facility is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekends.
