Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Julia Karg of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in architectural engineering, and Tyler Rauch of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in mechanical engineering.

More than 130 students from the Ocean County College Nursing Class received their nursing pins at the 50th annual nurses pinning ceremony in Toms River. The graduates completed a two-year course of study leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree in nursing. The graduates from Jackson are Amanda Clark, Maureen Bioni, Andrea Grelis, Michelle Grygo, Steven Kish, Victoria Nuccio and Melissa Plummer.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., announced the graduation of the following area residents: Sarah Heath of Jackson, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; Kevin Kappock of Howell, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; Ryan Murray of Howell, Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; and Brianna Robinson of Jackson, Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.

Errol Flynn of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at Lafayette College, Easton Pa. Errol is a 2016 graduate of Howell High School. At Lafayette, he has a double major in Spanish and history.

Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Ok., announced that Emily Pereira of Howell has been named to the dean’s honor roll for the 2018 spring semester.

Brittany Daly of Howell was named to the Champlain College, Burlington, Vt., president’s list for the 2018 spring semester. Students who are named to the president’s list have achieved a semester grade point average of 4.0 or higher.

Cassandra B. Smith of Howell has earned a Bachelor of Science, Dental Hygiene: Health Policy and Administration Concentration from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa., a special mission affiliate of Penn State University. Cassandra was named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.

Bret Francis of Jackson, a student at Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., majoring in economics, was inducted into Phi Sigma Tau, the international honor society in philosophy, this spring.

The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I., has named the following Howell residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Julia Gluck, Dawson Jones, Kyle J. McEvoy and Tyler John Szajdecki.

Ashley Altepeter of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.

King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., announced that Morgan Albrecht and James Gill, both of Jackson have been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, East Stroudsburg, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Lisa-Ann Cerenov of Howell, nursing major; Morgan Koerber of Jackson, hotel, restaurant and tourism management major; and Allison Young of Jackson, special education/early childhood major.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Keenan Braun of Howell and Karyssa Niedt of Jackson.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., announced that Brianna Ashley Salameh of Howell has been named to the president’s list (3.9 GPA or higher) for the 2018 spring semester. Brianna is majoring in intelligence analysis.
