The Township of East Brunswick will sponsor a July 4th Celebration & Fireworks event beginning at 7 p.m. on July 4 at the Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Rain date July 5.
There will be food vendors, giveaways, bounce rides, face painting, balloon twisting, a watermelon eating contest sponsored by East Brunswick Stop&Shop, a wing eating contest sponsored by Hooters of East Brunswick, and a cupcake eating contest sponsored by House of Cupcakes.
The entertainment kicks off at 5 p.m. with DJ Wacky Wayne. Then at 7:30 p.m., New Jersey’s Most “Wanted” Rock “N Roll Party Band will take the stage. At approximately 9:30 p.m., the fireworks will go off. Bring chairs and blankets.
The platinum sponsor is Route 18 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
Parking will be available at the Community Arts Center and at Heavenly Farms.
No pets, alcohol or personal fireworks are permitted.
