Jamesburg Library offers summer programs

The Jamesburg Public Library has announced its summer program schedule.

Art workshops will be held Mondays, July 2-Aug. 20, with two sessions each day. Ages 4-7 meet from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and ages 8 and older meet from 1-2:30 p.m. Children will leave each session with a completed work of art, and they will experiment with different kinds of media: charcoal, pastels, watercolors and more.

Music with Miss Melody – run by Melody Stevens, founder and CEO of Mozarts & Einsteins Preschool in Jamesburg – will be held Saturdays, July 14-Aug. 18.

At 2 p.m. Thursdays, July 12-Aug. 16, there will be different programs offered. Wizard Filson’s Magic Show is July 12; Slime Time is July 19, with an additional session at 3 p.m.;┬áLocal Heroes Day will be July 26; Mammal Mania Travelling Zoo will stop by on Aug. 2; a Make Your Own Ice Cream Party will be Aug. 9; and Kids Yoga will be Aug. 16 for ages 4-7, with an additional session at 3 p.m. for ages 8 and older.
