WiffleMania was created 10 years ago to help the Wobbly Feet Foundation “Strike Out A-T.”
Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) is a very rare children’s disease; only about 500 cases are in the United States so Andrew Stern’s efforts are to raise not only money, but awareness, because of his cousin Connor. In the past nine events, the organization has raised more than $20,000 with the help of sponsors.
Twenty-four teams from throughout Central New Jersey will be at Danny P. Ryan Field in Monroe from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 30. Connor and his family will be joining the group; they live in Florida.
