Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge team members wore blue on June 15 in recognition of Men’s Health Month/Wear Blue Day. Wear Blue Day was created by the Men’s Health Network to raise awareness about the importance of men making healthy lifestyle choices, making regular annual visits to the doctor, getting educated on heart disease and diabetes, starting general health conversations with their male friends and more. Cardiovascular disease, lung cancer, stroke, and diabetes are among the leading causes of death for American men. The risk of developing these conditions can be reduced with a combination of a healthy lifestyle and regular medical care. Men can find a physician and make an appointment by calling 1-800-560-9990.
