Hackensack Meridian Health’s Integrative Health & Medicine program opened a new location at Raritan Bay Medical Center – Old Bridge today.
The new center will provide nutritional consultations, acupuncture and psychology consultations that focus on all aspects of health and wellness.
Integrative health and medicine focuses on the health and well-being of the whole person — mind, body and spirit. It addresses the impact of lifestyle, environment, and genetics on an individual’s health and well-being, and understands that the provider/patient relationship is a vital component in the healing process.
The network’s Integrative Health & Medicine program focuses on the five pillars of health and well-being: sleep, activity, purpose, nutrition and resilience.
Hackensack Meridian Health launched its Integrative Health & Medicine program in July 2016 with the opening of its first clinic at the Hackensack Meridian Health Village at Jackson. Clinical services have been provided at this location since then and the practice continues to grow in terms of providers, services, and partnerships.
