The University of Delaware, Newark, Del., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: from Jackson: Shuja Abbas, Jake Balena, Michael Bertman, Matthew Dolan, Emily Farrell, Adrianna Korey, Kelsey Lona, Jacob Moore, Rachel Northrup, Anthony Provini and Nicholas Semple; and from Howell: Lorenzo Bedore, Catherine Ferraro, Kevin Flaherty, Emily Gil, Jessica Giuliano, Harrison Landfield, Samantha Lukas, Rachael Passantino, Brianna Postorino, Jessica Sawall, Taylor Terlizzi, Paola Troche, Christine Walthers and Emma Winkley.

Sophie Anna Lazicki of Jackson has graduated from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with honors. Sophie was named to the dean’s list. She is the daughter of Cindy and Chris Lazicki and is a graduate of Donovan Catholic High School, Toms River. Sophie has accepted a position with the Hackensack Meridian Nurse Residency Program.

Hayley Krieger of Howell, a student in the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn., has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester, 2018.

Carsin Conner of Howell received a Master of Arts degree from the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn., at commencement ceremonies in May. Carsin majored in community psychology with a concentration in community clinical services in the College of Arts and Sciences.

The following Howell residents graduated from the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn. – Christopher Amberg, Bachelor of Science, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, criminal justice with a concentration in investigative services, and Bachelor of Science, national security studies; Hayley Krieger, Bachelor of Arts, College of Arts and Sciences, psychology; and Thomas Smith, Bachelor of Science, College of Business, marketing.

University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa., announced that the following area residents have graduated: Sophia Abouhossein of Howell, cum laude, doctor of pharmacy degree; Ethan Candelaria of Howell, Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences degree; Amit Gohil of Howell, summa cum laude, doctor of physical therapy degree; Magdalene Hanna of Jackson, doctor of physical therapy degree; Taylor Landis of Howell, cum laude, doctor of occupational therapy degree; and Ifeekam Ozonuwe of Jackson, master of public health degree.

Kayla Ojeda of Howell graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies degree from University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa. Kayla continues on in the doctor of pharmacy program.

Brielle Favole of Howell has graduated from Emmanuel College, Boston, Mass., with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry.

Two Jackson residents have been named to the dean’s list at Boston University, Boston, Mass., for the 2018 spring semester: Roxanna Altus and Brendan G. Korey.

Sarah Wu of Howell has been named to the dean’s list at Boston University, Boston, Mass., for the 2018 spring semester.

Boston University, Boston, Mass., announced that the following residents of Jackson have graduated: Kevin D. Sardy, Bachelor of Science in speech, language and hearing science; Kevin Y. Yoon, Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design; Megan B. Wiessel, Bachelor of Science in hospitality administration; and LuAnn Born, Master of Science in software development.

Kayla L. Garcia of Howell has graduated from Boston University, Boston, Mass. Kayla  received a Bachelor of Arts in international relations.

Kaitlin Idank of Jackson has been placed on the dean’s commendation list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2018 semester at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa.

Courtney Marie Thompson of Howell graduated with a degree in college student personnel administration from the Graduate School at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.

Samantha Elizabeth Holland of Jackson graduated with a degree in economics from James Madison University Harrisonburg, Va.

Kayla Lang of Jackson was named to the Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass., dean’s list for spring 2018.

Amy Elizabeth DiPasquale of Howell has earned a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy and a Bachelor of Science in health science at Alvernia University, Reading, Pa.

Kelsey Seaman of Howell has been named to the dean’s list at Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., for the spring 2018 semester.

Ashley Kittell of Howell has graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in industrial engineering and an ME in engineering management.

The following students have been named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa. – Victoria Pobok of Jackson, Delghir Sanzhikov of Jackson, Jay Cadiz of Howell, Jenna Kwiecinski of Jackson, Taylor Landis of Howell, Sophia Abouhossein of Howell, Juhi Maggu of Jackson, Amit Gohil of Howell and Magdalene Hanna of Jackson.

Gabrielle Christine Nuzzi of Howell has been named to the president’s list (4.0 GPA) at Clemson University, Clemson, S.C., for the spring 2018 semester. Gabrielle is is majoring in accounting.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., announced that the following area residents have been named to the spring 2018 dean’s list: Conor Prendergast of Jackson, Rachel Jarrett of Jackson and Amanda Capasso of Jackson.

The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala., named the following area residents to the dean’s list (3.5 GPA) and president’s list (4.0 GPA) for the 2018 spring semester: Allison Rose Kehoe of Howell, dean’s list; Vincent Scott Murphy of Howell, dean’s list; Zoe Alyse Rosenmertz of Howell, dean’s list; and Erin A. Bilder of Jackson, president’s list.

Clemson University, Clemson, S.C., has named the following residents of Howell to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester: Jonathan Hunter Ayres, majoring in electrical engineering; Ryan Josef Hillermeier, majoring in political science; Sydney Anne Murin, majoring in food science and human nutrition; and Genna Pesce of Howell, majoring in food science and human nutrition.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Nicholas DaSilva of Jackson, Miranda Auriemma of Jackson, Shawn Nevers of Jackson and Rachel Russo of Howell.

Gina M. Papa of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at the University of Scranton, Pa. Gina is a sophomore occupational therapy major in the  Panuska College of Professional Studies.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester: Brianna Robinson of Jackson, Brianna Paganini of Howell, Rebecca Castellani of Howell, Kaitlyn Hassler of Jackson and Jason Carrete of Howell.

Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., announced that the following area residents have graduated: Kelsey Seaman of Howell graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater; and Kenneth Bradley of Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.

Quadajiah Fitch of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, for the spring 2018 semester.
