Dermot’s journey in scouting began in 2011 when he joined Troop 90. He participated in hiking and camping trips and loved camping in the woods with his fellow scouts. He attended both the 2013 and 2017 National Scout Jamboree, and also spent a week in 2015 at High Adventure Florida Sea Base where he lived on a sailboat for a week, according to information provided by Joe Hobbs.

During Dermot’s first year of scouting he was featured in “Boys Life Magazine” in an article about Snuffy Camporee.

He attended National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and held various leadership roles within the troop, including senior patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader, according to the statement.

For his Eagle project, Dermot collected and refurbished more than 40 instruments for the Fledgling Trenton High School Marching Band.

He has been accepted to the Belmont University School of Music Performance Program, where he will start in August .

Frank has been in scouting since he joined Pack 98 as a Tiger in 2007. Frank, like Dermot, could be seen at every hike and camping trip, according to the statement. Volunteering in many Eagle projects, Frank would often come home covered in mud but stating that the mess was for the greater good.
