NORTH BRUNSWICK – The North Brunswick Public Library has named Zoltan Braz as its new director.
Braz is a lifelong resident of Middlesex County and currently resides in North Brunswick. He is a graduate of Middlesex County College, Rutgers University and the Rutgers School of Communication and Information.
He has been employed by the North Brunswick Public Library for the past 14 years, starting as a part-time reference librarian before becoming the young adult and then adult services librarian, according to information provided by the library.
As a librarian, he advocates for the ideals of literacy, diversity, lifelong learning and community service, according to the statement. He hopes to make use of the N.J. Library Construction Bond Act to bring a new, modern library building with expanded resources and services to the people of North Brunswick.
Cheryl McBride retired on June 29 after 13 years as the library’s director.
