Middlesex County seeks victory in 25th Snapple Bowl apple Bowl

The Snapple Bowl will be played for the 25th time when Middlesex County tackles Union County in the all-star game that is scheduled for July 19.

The annual summer game between graduated high school seniors from Middlesex and Union counties will be played at Woodbridge High School. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.

Snapple Bowl XXV will raise money for the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside and the Lakeview School in Edison, a school for children with disabilities.

Middlesex County enters the 25th meeting with a 14-10 advantage in the series. Middlesex County has won nine of the past 12 games but Union County scored a 27-14 victory last summer.

Middlesex County’s all-star team had been practicing at Woodbridge High School while Union County trained for the game at Union High School.
