Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore, Md., announced that the following area residents have graduated: Kaitlin Kazmierski of Manalapan received a BA degree in global studies; Brian Wright of Manalapan received a BBA degree in business administration; and Anastatia Zita of Marlboro received a BA degree in philosophy.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Emma Hellmann of Colts Neck, Richard Marino of Freehold, Michael Kennedy of Englishtown, Brian Lafferty of Englishtown, Meredith Schaffer of Freehold, Samantha Rommeney of Freehold, Michael Colicchia of Freehold, Nicole Sasso of Freehold, Daniel Grossmann of Colts Neck, and Meghan McLaughlin of Manalapan.

Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., announced that the following residents of Freehold have graduated: Allison Horvath graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism; and Shannon Samaris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in television-radio.

Jessica Sharkey of Manalapan has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at Rutgers University. Jessica is a sophomore majoring in business and marketing.

Matthew J. D’Agati, son of Karen and Jerome D’Agati of Manalapan, has graduated with distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and information technology, with a minor in business Analytics. Matthew received the Edgar F. Shannon Award in recognition of his distinguished leadership and academic achievements. He is a 2014 graduate of High Technology High School, Lincroft. Matthew will pursue his career at Deloitte Consulting in August.

Christina Lanahan of Freehold has been named to the dean’s list at Alvernia University, Reading, Pa., for the spring 2018 semester. Christine studies nursing at Alvernia and is a graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Conor Leahy of Colts Neck, Patrick Andree of Colts Neck, Morgan Citron of Manalapan, Zoe Khaitan of Freehold, Julia Pardee of Freehold, Sonya Priven-Grinblat of Marlboro, Netta Cudkevich of Morganville, Nicole Weber of Morganville, Ryan Pelman of Morganville and Samantha Ryan of Morganville.

The Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga., announced that Kushagr Singh of Manalapan and Thomas Mezaros of Freehold have been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.

Chaitya Shah of Freehold earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for spring 2018 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga. The designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Blake M. Small of Colts Neck has been named to the dean’s list at St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., for the 2018 spring semester. Blake is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in economics.

Tyler Von Nessen of Manalapan has been named to the dean’s list at Villanova University, Villanova, Pa., for the 2018 spring semester. Tyler is a member of the football team and was also named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as a student-athlete who earned a GPA higher than 3.2 for the last two semesters. He is a 2016 graduate of Freehold Township High School and is the son of Laureen and Ed Von Nessen.

Graduates from Monmouth County were awarded diplomas at the 2018 Berkeley College commencement ceremony held at the Prudential Center, Newark. The following graduates from Monmouth County were awarded diplomas: Salvatore Carollo of Manalapan, Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing communications, with honors; Man Luk of Freehold, Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, with honors; Ricky Piotrowski of Morganville, Bachelor of Business Administration in business administration-management, with honors; Jennifer Quinton of Marlboro, practical nurse certificate, with honors; Bria Robinson of Freehold, Associate in Applied Science in business administration-management; and Luis Rosas of Freehold, Bachelor of Science in justice studies-criminal justice, with honors.

Christopher Rodriguez of Manalapan has been named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at the University of South Carolina Upstate, Spartanburg S.C.
