The Tri-State Budgerigar (Parakeet) Society is hosting its 28th annual show from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 28 and 29 at the Middlesex County 4H Youth Center Log Cabin, 645 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Birds must be entered by 10 a.m. Saturday or 9 a.m. Sunday. Non-exhibitors should plan on arriving after the entry period is over. Judging will then begin and continues until all birds have been seen each day.
BAA sanctioned divisions both days for owner bred, closed banded exhibition budgerigars. There will be an open Pet Budgie Division without such requirements on Saturday only, with categories for exhibition and pet store types.
The cost is $3 daily entry fee per bird. No admission charge for spectators.
