Andrea Kron, a graduate of The Ailey School, New York City, recently conducted a three-day ballet intensive at the Emotion in Motion Dance Center, 1833 Route 35, Middletown. The intensive included barre work, musicality and anatomy.
Andrea’s background includes “Hercules on Broadway.” regional theatre, Nutcrackers, Radio City Music Hall and dance festivals throughout the east coast. She teaches in New York City at Broadway Dance Center and Ripley Grier Studios.
Emotion in Motion was established in 2010 by owner-director, Tara Eccles Frye. She received her Dance Masters of America teaching certification as well as majoring in musical theatre at University of the Arts.
Emotion in Motion has ongoing registration on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-8 p.m. as well as an open house on Aug. 22 from 5-8 p.m. Custom shoe fittings, meeting the faculty and tours of the art center will be part of the open house. The school offers ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and voice classes as well as private audition coaching. Fall classes
