Dance With Melody is celebrating its 28th year in business.
Located in the popular Middletown ShopRite Plaza, parents love the convenience of dropping their children off to dance while they shop. We are known for our family-friendly, comfortable, creative and fun environment where students learn proper technique, while building self-esteem and confidence.
The studio is preparing for the 2018-19 year and we are looking forward to seeing all of our returning students and new dancers, too.
The top-notch faculty at Dance With Melody is comprised of certified dance instructors who possess strong professional experience and broad educational backgrounds. Our staff offers a high-quality dance education in the disciplines of ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, pointe, gymnastics, lyrical, contemporary, voice, musical theater and modern. Specialized classes in ballroom, parent and tot, dance for Girl Scout troops and wedding dance choreography is available as well. Our popular summer programs of Disney Princesses Camps, adult classes, evening technique training and master classes are quickly filling up.
All students experience a rewarding and inspiring dance education. Through our yearly recitals, competition opportunities and proficiency rating examinations, students further their education and exceed all expectations. Special events such as parent observation, sleepovers, pajama parties, charity fundraisers, community performances, contests and group trips are part of an all-encompassing education where students make lifelong friendships and develop their physical, emotional and intellectual well-being.
Dance With Melody is home of the award-winning Diamond Dance Company, which has performed most recently in Disney World, Carnival Cruise Line’s Imagination, Lakewood BlueClaws games, The Strand Theatre, Monmouth Mall’s Winter Showcase, Middletown Arts Center and Six Flags Great Adventure. The company attends both regional and national competitions. The company recently was awarded Top Overalls, Judges Awards and World Dance Championship invitations. Personal auditions for those interested in joining the company may be scheduled in the month of August. Intensive technique and master classes for team members will be held the week of Aug. 27.

Office hours for August will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays. An open house will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sept. 5 – meet the staff, and enjoy refreshments, shoe fittings and video performances.
