Mater Dei Prep in Middletown will offer new programs for students for the 2018-19 school year.

Mater Dei Prep is a private, Catholic high school located on an expansive 32-acre campus in Middletown.

For more than 50 years, Mater Dei Prep has attracted talented students who recognize the unique learning opportunities the school provides. Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, all students attending Mater Dei Prep will have exciting new academic options available to them. The board, working with a dedicated faculty and staff, continues the Mater Dei Prep traditions of academic excellence, social consciousness, and faith.

Mater Dei Prep’s relatively small size (350-400 students)—coupled with its myriad and varied opportunities for academic, physical and spiritual growth—means all students have the opportunity to pursue their own interests and dreams. Individuality is encouraged and supported by an engaged and interested staff.

Mater Dei Prep has created four new programs – the Global Leaders Institute, Information Technology Institute, Performing Arts Institute and the Emergency Medical Services and Nursing Institute – designed to teach students the skills needed to excel in today’s diverse, technology-based fields.

Each institute will consist of a progression of courses intended to give students a greater understanding of a field of study. All programs feature labs or lab-like working environments, allowing students to learn through hands-on participation. Some of the institutes offer professional certifications as part of the course of study.

We invite all prospective families to visit Mater Dei Prep during our open house on from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 21. For more information or to register for an open house, visit www.materdeiprep.org or contact Christine Altland, Admissions officer, at 732-671-9100, ext. 117 or caltland@materdeiprep.org.
