Sayreville police to hold first citizens academy

Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church in Sayreville held its annual carnival where locals enjoyed rides, games and carnival food on June 22. Husband and Wife Charlie and Victoria Teator, of the Sayreville Police Department, patrol the grounds.

The Sayreville Police Department will hold its first Citizen’s Police Academy to provide the public with an understanding of the operations of the police force.

The classroom-based academy will meet once a week for six weeks beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.
