The South Amboy YMCA is located at 200 John T. O’Leary Blvd. in South Amboy, first opening its doors in September of 2010. We know that lasting personal and social change comes when we all work together. That’s why at the Y strengthening our community — in mind, body and spirit — is our cause.

We believe that regardless of age, religion, gender or financial means that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
The YMCA is dedicated to building strong children, strong families and strong communities through programs that develop values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility through several different programs like LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA for cancer survivors or through our Annual Support Campaign which helps us give scholarships to those in need.
