Aldersgate United Methodist Church holds trip to see New York Mets play, preach

Aldersgate United Methodist Church of East Brunswick will join the Times Square Church and the New York Mets for a day of baseball, followed by praise and worship, at Citi Field in Queens, New York, on Aug. 25.

The Mets will play the Washington Nationals at 4:10 p.m.

The cost is $105, which includes the game ticket for a seat in the Coke Corner, plus an $18 credit for use at any concession stand.

The first 25,000 fans will receive a Jay Bruce bobblehead.

Twenty minutes after the end of the game, there will be a faith-based message presented by the Times Square Church along with testimonials from Mets players on the third base side of the field in Field Level.
