Muhlenberg College’s Nate Corvil, a graduate of Freehold Township High School, was named on two pre-season All-America football teams.

Corvil, a cornerback, was selected for the Street & Smith’s First Team and the D3football.com Third Team.

Corvil led the Centennial Conference with six interceptions in 2017. He also recorded 47 tackles, six pass breakups and three defensive touchdowns (one on an interception, two on fumble recoveries) last fall. He is a two-year starter at the college in Allentown, Pa., with 11 career interceptions, 11 pass breakups and 104 tackles.

Last year, Corvil helped lead Muhlenberg to an 8-3 record and an Asa S. Bushnell Bowl victory over Carnegie Mellon, 32-6. Muhlenberg will open the 2018 season on Sept. 8 against Dickinson College.
