Old Bridge Library offers free ESL classes

The Old Bridge Library will offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays beginning on Sept. 18, and 10–11:30 a.m. Wednesdays beginning on Sept. 19. Both classes are available to Old Bridge residents only, for free, and generally end in mid-December.

Registration begins on Aug. 20 and must be done in-person at the Adult and Information Services desk at the Central Branch of the Library.

The library hosts a potluck meal on the last day of class, where students and tutors are encouraged to bring a dish representative of their country of origin.

Eligible students receive a Certificate of Achievement.

The library is located at 1 Municipal Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge. For more information, call 732-721-5600, ext. 5033.
