The 2018 NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) New Jersey State 33rd Conference “1 in 5: Youth Mental Health & Wellness” will be held on Dec. 1 at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Ave., Somerset.

The North Brunswick-based organization is seeking workshop proposals and poster proposals which explore a deeper understanding of how people, schools and organizations in New Jersey can support youth mental health and wellness through leveraging resources and common goals. Proposals should address the needs of youth, up to age 24, mental health and wellness as well as family and caregiver issues. Proposals with a focus on underserved populations, including LGBTQIA persons, communities of color, youth experiencing homelessness and immigrant communities are strongly encouraged.
