To the editor:
I urge Hillsborough voters to support Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo for Hillsborough Township Committee in the November election. Hillsborough has long been known as a family friendly community with a responsible local government.
As longtime residents, Shawn and Ron will focus on keeping taxes low, our residents safe and secure and improving our infrastructure.
Shawn’s experience running a local business will allow him to use his knowledge of the community to make good decisions for the township. His experience on the Somerset County Planning Board, the Hillsborough Township Planning Board, the Hillsborough Economic Business and Economic Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Capital Planning Board and Youth Services Commission give him the experience needed to be a highly effective committee member.
Ron’s years of experience as a law enforcement professional, as well as his as time on the Somerset County Treatment Services Board, will be a value add to the Township Committee. Ron’s membership on Hillsborough’s Recreation Committee, Cultural and Arts Commission and Planning Board give him the background needed to be an effective committeeman.
