Old Bridge High School alum commissioned as Marine Corps. officer

Joseph Terstenyak commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. (USMC) on Aug. 28.

Terstenyak spent the summer between junior and senior year of college in Quantico, Virginia, training for 10 weeks at Officer Candidate School. Upon graduating from the program last August, he returned to The College of New Jersey to finish his psychology and criminology bachelor’s degrees.

Terstenyak will report for duty on Oct. 1 in Quantico at USMC-The Basic School where he will begin his career as a USMC officer.

Terstenyak is a graduate of Old Bridge High School.
