Dr. Shirley Russak Wachtel, author and professor of English at Middlesex County College, will review her latest book, “This I Know,” at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
This novel focuses on Ora Newman’s search for her roots as she discovers her mother’s past, including involvement in a secret munitions factory during Israel’s War of Independence.
Dairy refreshments will be served.
