East Brunswick council approves resolution for tree planting services

EAST BRUNSWICK–The Township Council approved a resolution awarding Louis Barbato Landscaping a contract to provide tree planting services for East Brunswick.

On Aug. 21, the township received three bids for the project, with Louis Barbato Landscaping submitting the lowest bid per species of tree, according to the council agenda. The council approved the resolution to award the contract during the Aug. 27 council meeting.

Funding is not to exceed $45,000, according to the resolution, and the chief financial officer certifies that available funds have been made in the 2018 budget, according to the agenda. The company will have a one-year contract with two one-year extensions.
