Joseph Preziosi of Marlboro qualified for the summer 2018 dean’s list at Belmont University, Nashville, Tenn. Eligibility for the summer session is based on a minimum nine-hour course load over 10 weeks and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Delaware Valley University, Doylestown, Pa., announced the following students have been honored for academic achievement by being named to the spring 2018 dean’s list: John Rada of Freehold, Andrew Landis of Freehold and Emily Davis of Colts Neck.

Angelina Marino of Freehold was among the 43 University of Scranton, Pa., students who studied abroad during the 2018 summer semester. Angelina, an occupational therapy major, participated in the university’s travel courses “Intensive Italian Abroad” and “Dante’s Inferno and the Florence of His Times” in Florence, Italy.

The New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the spring 2018 presidential honor list: Shreya Bendre of Morganville, studying advertising, public relations and technology; Himani Jani of Marlboro, studying life sciences; and Aman Rawat of Freehold, studying computer science. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.7 or higher.

Charlotte Abin of Freehold has been placed on the Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa., dean’s honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2018 semester.

Georgian Court University, Lakewood, announced that the following area residents  received academic awards for 2017-18: Elizabeth Legregin of Freehold, a major in dance, earned the Dance: Scholar Award. The award honors scholars in the performing arts and recognizes the artistic and technical growth of a student who has the potential to become a professional dance scholar, performer or choreographer. Casey Lynn Stoya of Manalapan, a major in natural sciences, earned the Natural Sciences: Academic Achievement Award. The award recognizes academic achievement by a natural sciences major.

Christina Zarnowski of Freehold has received a Master of Science in Nursing in nursing at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
