Hazlet residents honored with Caldwell alumni awards

Caldwell University recognized alumni from Hazlet on Sept. 22 during the school’s annual homecoming weekend.

The Broderick family of Hazlet was honored with the Family Legacy Award, which is presented to a family with one or more alumni who have demonstrated dedication and service to the university, according to a press release.

Matthew, James, Bryan and Eric Broderick graduated from Caldwell University and were members of the men’s soccer team.

Matthew is in his eighth year with the Toms River Police Department, James is director of portfolio management with Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company, Bryan is a resident in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Eric is an AML systems analyst for the financial service company, CLS Group, according to the press release.
