National Merit Scholars named at North Brunswick Township High School

NORTH BRUNSWICK – Six students from North Brunswick Township High School have been named commended students, and one student has advanced to semi-finalist status, in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2019 competition by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Commended students are Rashmi Ananth, Kunal S. Bhatt, Ashrith V. Dubbaka, Michael S. Einiger, Tara C. Jennings and Shakthi Rave.

The semi-finalist is Surya Ananthu.
