To the editor:
My name is Nicole Risher and I am a 19-year resident of Hillsborough. I am a mother of four, wife and scientist by career. I have known Jeffrey Wright for almost five years now. Jeff has shown me that he has the ability and leadership skills to be the voice needed on the Hillsborough Township Committee.
I have seen Jeff manage to successfully balance his career and family while giving back to his community. Community service is very dear to my heart. It is refreshing to see a candidate that is so passionate about issues that affect the people in the community.
As a member Delta Sigma Theta, a public service organization, I have been around many people who were passionate about giving back to their community. Jeffrey is one of those people. His fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, and my sorority have collaborated many times on public service projects.
Jeff has the background that will benefit Hillsborough. As a financial adviser by trade, Jeff will know how to best serve Hillsborough in a fiscal capacity. He has been going door to door for weeks now listening to the residents of Hillsborough and their concerns. Jeff is the type of person who will know best how to translate those concerns into action.
Make the “Wright” choice and vote for Jeffrey Wright on November 6.
