Lidl will open its Hazlet location with a ribbon cutting at 7:40 a.m. on Nov. 28.
The new supermarket, located at 2937 Route 35, will be Lidl’s northernmost store in New Jersey and the fourth in the state.

The first 100 customers will be greeted by Lidl Store Manager Marilynn Feria and presented with a wooden coin redeemable for a special gift card ranging from $5 to $100 each. Shoppers can also sample an array of products and get a complimentary reusable bag while supplies last. Throughout grand opening weekend there will be games, activities, prizes, special deals and giveaways.
The store will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
