To the editor:
Hillsborough will always hold a very special place in my heart. Not only was Hillsborough home for so long, but my late husband, Peter J. Biondi, dedicated many years of his life bettering Hillsborough. Peter loved being Hillsborough’s Mayor and I loved supporting him every step of the way.
It is for these reasons and more that I follow Hillsborough elections very closely. In so many ways, I feel obligated to do all that I can to ensure that Peter’s legacy of selfless public service and an ever-improving quality of life in Hillsborough endures.
In this year’s Hillsborough election, Committeeman Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo, the Republican candidates, best represent what Peter was all about. Volunteerism, commitment to community and proven track records of success in both their personal and professional lives. Quite candidly, Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo have two of the most extensive and impressive resumes I’ve ever seen in local candidates.
In this year’s Hillsborough Township Committee election, Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo have my complete and unconditional support. I urge Hillsborough to vote for these two great candidates.
