Lipani and Skobo have proven track record

To the editor:

As a former Deputy Mayor and current member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, I can attest to the hard work that is takes to be a township committee member.

Shawn Lipani, who was recently appointed to the township committee to fill a vacancy, was also chairman of the Hillsborough Planning Board. He has also been a member of the Somerset County Planning Board, Hillsborough Economic Development Board, Board of Adjustment, Capital Planning, Rotary and Youth Services. In addition, he runs Central Jersey Nurseries.

Ron Skobo has had a lifelong career in law enforcement and was Parks and Recreation Director for many years. He has volunteered on the Parks and Recreation Commission, Cultural and Arts Commission and Planning Board in town. In addition, he was Somerset Treatment Services Board President and a member of Somerset County Youth Leadership and Somerville Elks Lodge.

As you can see both have extensive experience working and volunteering in the township and Somerset County.

I have personally worked with both Shawn and Ron, through the years I can be sure that each will work their hardest for the taxpayers of Hillsborough Township.

Please join me in supporting both Shawn Lipani and Ron Skobo, and vote for them on Tuesday November 6, 2018.
