Skobo makes the case for his candidacy

To the editor:

Having been actively involved in the community the majority of my life, I am extremely excited for the opportunity to serve the people of Hillsborough on the township committee.

Though I continue to work, I am retired from an almost 30 year career in law enforcement. Over the years, I have served on many county and township boards and commissions. All these experiences give me a very unique perspective and understanding of the complexities of local government and the work needed to continue to move Hillsborough forward.

Those who know me personally know that I will bring an unparalleled level of dedication and commitment to serving the community that I’ve called home for over 40 years. I look forward to implementing a sustainable plan for maintaining our infrastructure; preserving land for open space and recreation opportunities; and keeping the municipal portion of our property taxes down.

I humbly ask for your support on Election Day. Please vote for my running mate Shawn Lipani and me on November 6. Together, we will make sure Hillsborough continues to be a wonderful place to live and work.
