The East Brunswick chapter of Hadassah wishes to thank Mayor Brad Cohen and the staff of the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Services for putting on an excellent East Brunswick Day open to all organizations and vendors on Oct. 7. Previous community days had been scheduled on Saturdays, which left out all Jewish organizations which must observe the Saturday Sabbath.

Community day was superbly well organized. We were so appreciative of the parks and recreational staff for their generous help. They assisted set up, arranged displays and even taped down out tablecloths to protect from the wind. The day brought more than 50 people to our booth with many interested in joining our organization. Best of all, we were able to communicate to our neighbors what we contribute to the neighborhood.
