Middlesex County College will hold Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 7 in Parking Lot 3 on its Edison campus, off Woodbridge Avenue.

The program, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will combine an exploration of military culture with fun. Activities include a rock wall, soccer kick game, inflatable basketball game, football toss, a jousting pit and an obstacle course. Participants can also examine a Humvee and other military vehicles and military gear such as combat vests and Kevlar helmets.

The activities are free and open to the public.

Military Appreciation Day is part of a week-long program that includes a blood drive on Nov. 6 and packing supplies for troops overseas as part of Operation Shoebox on Nov. 10.
