The Junior Cardinals were playing a youth football team from Florence Township when a fight broke out after a sideline tackle caused a disturbance among players, coaches and parents, Amodio said.

The tackle led to pushing and shoving, and a coach tried to intervene, Amodio said. At that point, more coaches and parents ran onto the field and a fight broke out. The fight was eventually broken up.

Carter turned himself in on Oct. 24 and was processed and released on a summons, Amodio said.
