Artist to demonstrate how to paint koi fish on yupo paper

The Suburban Artist Guild will hold its next monthly meeting at 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the East Brunswick Library, Jean Walling Civic Center off Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.

Lisa Budd will present a workshop demonstrating how to use watercolors on yupo paper. Yupo is a synthetic paper made from polystyrene.

Yupo will be provided. Bring your own watercolor supplies, plus watercolor pencils or crayons, and a small bar of ivory soap.

Since Budd will demonstrate how to paint koi fish, bring in a photo of a fish and flowers.
