East Brunswick officers take part in No Shave November

Mustache / beard / goatee for No Shave November

The East Brunswick Police Department is once again taking on No-Shave November to raise money for cancer awareness.

Started in 2009, the movement at no-shave.org encourages individuals, businesses and organizations to forego shaving the entire month of November to grow their hair in honor of cancer patients, many of whom lose their own hair during treatment.

Each officer who participates donates an initial $20 to the cause, with funds ultimately going to the American Cancer Society, the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the Fight Colorectal Cancer organization and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

The department as a whole, under the team name East Brunswick Police Department, is looking to raise $2,500 this year. Donations can be made at
