TOMS RIVER EAST
Toms River High School East fell to Central Regional High School, 28-14, on Nov. 1 in Toms River.
Toms River East slipped to 3-6 on the season
Toms River East junior’s wide receiver Nasceem Davis and fullback Frankie Giannetti each scored a rushing touchdown in the loss to Central Regional. Davis scored on a 40-yard burst and Giannetti’s touchdown was a 5-yard run.
TOMS RIVER NORTH
Toms River High School North was defeated in the first round of the South Jersey, Group 5 state sectional playoffs.
The Mariners were eliminated by Vineland High School, 33-0 on Nov. 2 in Vineland. The loss dropped Toms River North’s record to 6-3 for the season.
